Independent Schools of Practical Life Learning and Craftsmanship are the natural post-compulsory non-tertiary education steppingstone for practical oriented students headed onwards to further education, work and life.

We teach a healthy work-life balance from a practical approach to learning. Our main focus is on pre-vocational or vocational skills and home economics. The aim of the teaching is to further the personal development, maturity and independence of the students.

Target group: 

Primary t.g.:
Students with a practical approach to learning.
Students who need to become more mature and ready for tertiary education. 

Secondary t.g.:
Students in need of independent adult life training.
Students in need of pre-vocational schooling.


Activities:

Independent Schools for Practical Life Learning and Craftsmanship are boarding schools based on a strong foundation of general and democratic education.

We seek to teach the students through real life tasks and occupational training. Here you learn math in the kitchen while learning to cook healthy and following a budget. This is the unique combination of theoretical knowledge and vocational training in our three main classes which are:

• Pre-vocational education training

• 10th grade for practical minded students

• Basic life training for students with special needs
